I have received a few missed calls from this number but didn't recognise it so I googled it. The fact that so many people were saying it was a nuisance call but quite a few other people were saying it was a call from Virgin Media rang alarm bells. I am a Virgin Media customer and, in my experience, VM always leave voice messages if they can't get hold of you. I rang VM to ask them to check the number and they have told me that A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER IS DEFINITELY NOT A CALL FROM VIRGIN MEDIA! I recommend that you do not answer and block the number from your phone.

This is vergin medea sales team based in Asia. They hard sell you offers that you don't need. Sometimes it just a £1× 12 months. With an automatic increase later. They always say they are improving what you have for more money. Its best not to answer. If you want to change your package ring the normal virgin media number.

Said he wanted to discuss my package and it's upgrades, knew my name, asked to confirm my postcode, said I wasn't comfortable giving out my details so he hung up. I then called Virgin Media and they told me they didn't recognize the number.

Woman with a nigerian accent called me, said she was from virgin media, and that i needed to provide my full address. I explained that if she was from virgin media, she should already have it, she refused to confirm whether she had it or not, and then threatened me by saying she was marking my virgin media account with a negaitve rating and that i had opted out of their data protection. Complete nigerian scamming lies.
