Wanted to speak to me about my Virgin account & to see if I was getting the best deal. They asked me to confirm who I was by giving them my details. I asked them to confirm they were from Virgin before I gave out any details & asked them to tell me half of my post code, he said (in pigeon English) he would call back when he could hear me better....

Kept phoning me everyday. I was always busy when they called but they never left a message. Over a week of this and I was eventually in a position to answer the call. It was virgin media, English clearly was not his first language. I asked if he had been trying to get through to me for a week, he said yes, I said you do know if a random number calls and doesn’t leave a voice mail it’s very rude.... He hung up.

The day after ordering new TiVo giving mobile no as contact this number phoned me.!! Said it was Virgin media. I said I would phone back and they cut off. Checked with Virgin and they did not call. A scam.

I got a call from this number which I answered. I heard what I think was an Asian lady and the word "mobile". It was a bad line and noisy in the background. I thought it was dodgy and hung up straightaway. It has then rung me on another 3 occasions that I know of! If it goes to Voicemail, they don't say anything, but it registers enough to be told you have Voicemail. I cannot find how to block, but in the meantime I have opted for my phone to Auto Reject this number if it calls.

Virgin Media call centre from India. Offered to upgrade our digibox to latest V6. Asked for my ID: zip code and 1st line of address. Delivery will arrive on Fri he said. No additional charges for VM for having new box. I have been with VM 1 year now.

I answered the call and the guy on the other line said he was from virgin media and that he needed to do a service update... then he asked me to confirm my postcode for security purposes. I told him I wasn't comfortable in giving my personal details and if they were virgin media then they shouldn't be asking me like that. He then tried to explain the services and I told him it doesn't matter as in November I'm leaving virgin anyway because they gave us bad service in April so I don't want any updates thanks and he hung up????
