Caller from Virgin (call centre India?). Called to update my package. Wanted to sign me up but said I needed to check if my doorcam would work + other technical questions. She said everything would work. When I questioned if she was just saying this rather than being technically qualified she said she'd ring back. She probably believes she has a sale as she has been ringing at least twice every day sometimes up to 5x. Blocked

Phone it back and the pre recorded message says “Hello, it’s the sales team at Virginmedia here, just so you know, we tried calling you today, don’t worry, you don’t need to get in touch with us, we’ll try again another time” and they sure will. I’ve been getting these calls since I applied for a mobile phone with Virgin just after getting broadband with them. My online account shows my mobile order is parked and this will be them calling me to offer me a cheaper phone or to get me to pay the full price upfront, which I’m not doing.

DANGEROUS SCAM, pretending to be from Virgin Media offering deals, then pretending to be Amazon or your Bank or another company a few days later. Do not disclose any of your personal or banking information to them at all as they will continually ask you to confirm account information etc. Report every time you receive these calls to prevent vulnerable people being scammed, then block number as calls and texts are persistent.

claim to be from virgin media, asking to make arrangements for an engineer to enter property to accomodate changes to phone line. Everything that was said was contrary to the official mailer sent by Virgin Media 2 days ago. caller was very shaken when I said I'd call Virgin to make appointment.

I haven't had a virgin mobile phone for several years since they messed up my account & double charged me and refused to give a refund THEN put a black mark on my credit score as I canceled that contract but they didn't accept the cancellation and tried to charge me for a further 3 months

Couldn't understand wod they were saying aprt from someone shouting virgin mobile through the background noise. Assumed scam at first, if its really anbm number really need to sort out there marketing team as they sound as dodgy as anything.
