Ansa phone, texts and missed calls from 'Nationwide B/S. Nationwide accepts that their numbers are sometimes hacked. Also some calls from a mobile, which they would never use. Nub of connects are that my name is known and one of my contacts. They wanted me to engage, Which I refused.

It's legit, nationwide fraud prevention. I purchased something from America and they blocked it until I'd spoken to them. They also blocked my monthly gamepass subscription for some reason :D I was also near my local branch so I went in and checked with them and they confirmed it was real.

Nationwide Building Society Fraud Department. I didn't return the call on this number but went via the main Nationwide Number. They subsequently confirmed it was legit & my card had been stopped due to a dodgy transaction.

I received a call from this number today and the autobot said my first name and last name however it got my last name wrong. I contacted Nationwide via live chat on my internet banking and the lady told me no one from the fraud department has contacted me , I told her about the number used and she confirmed scammers are some how phoning people from the number 0800 464 3139 to take money from there accounts so please don't be fooled and phone Nationwide from a different number they have on their website call customer services not the same number that called you.

Was absolutely sure it was a scam, but it had my last 4 card numbers. googled the number, found this, but no actual nationwide link. upon calling the number in the text, it asks me for no personal information other than to press 1,2 or 3 and lists three years of birth - if this is a scam, its a very very good one.
