Called saying they were Nationwide, asked for a lot of information - not given as we were suspicious. Checking with Nationwide using 159 they confirmed they had not phoned. I see the number has been reported as a Nationwide number as well as a suspicious number, but either that is not true or it has been cloned at times. Treat with extreme caution and phone them back on the number on your bank card to be sure.

I had a text from Nationwide bank with this number linked to call them on, I wasn't sure of number so rang the number on the back of my card instead and they confirmed text was from them. They advised to always contact them that way rather than a number on a text just in case.

Woman called, broken accent, first thing - is this such and such (pronounced my long name really weird, how it is written on my card details, no serious company would name you that way, they have your full name in their details and would ask for that) , but I hate if ppl do not introduce them first (red flag for scam imo), so I said who is speaking? "Nationwide - is this ....(almost robotic pronunciation of my name again), so I didn't say yes and hung up. All my bank would like me to know they send text OR show on Internet banking app. NOT serious!!

Had a call claiming to be from Nationwide and if I needed any "help" after the difficult last year and issues with Covid.The woman said it was a courtesy call and there was nothing to worry about. Like hell there is!!!!! Total scam. I reported it to Nationwide after checking the number and reading the numerous negative comments. The number is now saved on my phone as "Nationwide Fraud Scamming ****" in case they try again.

Was sent text saying card had been used and to call this number. That in itself is not the usual action. So I called and got through to a guy who sounded like his was in a room on his own. Who then asked me how he could help me and generally behaved clueless. Then asked for all my details!!!
