I've checked this out after receiving 2 missed calls today from this number, and found that it is a genuine Nationwide automated call. The number was verified on their Twitter account: https://mobile.twitter.com/upbeatgrande/status/659342936308633600?lang=en They also advise about their automated calls and texts on their website: https://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/security/automated-customer-contact#xtab:voice-call For those of you hurling abuse at other posters in this community, maybe you aught to actually check these things out, before insulting other people! You're so frakking rude!

Received approximately 6 calls per day over the past week. This is vishing for sure. Whoever believes this is genuinely from Nationwide has been duped. The automated call asks for Nationwide Credit Card details. I do not have a Nationwide credit or debit card! The moment they attempt to guess your age should set alarm bells ringing that this is a scam. According to their guesses I would be 25 years younger than I am. It isn't even a very good scam.

This is a genuine call. I received a call at 8.50 in the morning. Didn't answer. Went online to see who it could be, after seeing a few posts stating nationwide I decided to call them given the number on their website. After I answered a few security questions the gentleman on the line immediately said I have missed a payment (even without me mentioning the call I received). So yes, this is a genuine call. Nationwide has verified it on their twitter too. By all means, give their main number a call for piece of mind but do not ignore!

I get at least two or three calls from them every day. It goes through to my voicemail but when i check messages they never leave one. It is very interrupting and disturbing.

I was called 11 (yes eleven!) times today on this number so I googled it. Some hits suggested it was Nationwide Building Society (who I have an account with), so I rang them on another number and they confirmed it is NOT their number and they wouldn't ring 11 times, they would ring a few times and then write. So please read the other stories of "nuisance call" misery for this number and block it.
