This is Nationwide Fraud Protection. In our case it was to check a credit card transaction. Worryingly, because this call is automated, it was unable to bypass our call-screening service.

This was a call from firstly an automated recording asking if i had made a transaction of blah blah blah, when i chose the number on my phone indicating i hadnt then you get to speak to a person from the fraud team, on this occasion however, the up himself young man decided that because i hadnt answered all 3 security questions correctly that he would call me back and inform me to take 2 forms of ID to a bank to id myself, first time this has ever happened as when i have got an answer wrong in the past they ask one more security question ( the one i got wrong was when does my direct Debit come out of my account) i rang the bank direct in the morning and it was sorted out satisfactorily as they cancelled my card and sent me a new one, be careful if you dont answer the call they may block your card from further usage.
