I'm fed up with virginmedia I'm getting 30 calls a day, yet virginmedia said there not 9n my account. In December 20 I'd been having lots of problems with my virginmedia Internet. I was calling them everyday with no help.. they told me they would get technical team to call me. So I had no reason not to believe them. They called me told me technical team from virginmedia, they said I'd been hacked and they would sort it out( remember I'd got no reason not to believe them) They got into my mobile and was trying to Rob me 4 hours later I cotton on to what they where doing. I'd let virginmedia know wasn't interested in anything I had too say. Change my box and yet still happening. I'm leaving virginmedia as soon as my contract is up

This IS a genuine call from Virgin, they are trying to get you to take out more services. They wanted me to have Virgin Mobile (and offered a pretty good deal TBH), but Virgin have poor coverage in my area so it was a no go, they then tried to move on to other "offers" and I hung up. If you don't want to receive these calls go to your Virgin account and turn off marketing calls in account preferences. But they do seem to have access to deals not available elsewhere so it might be worth taking a call from them every now and then to see what you can get.

This particular Asian lady calls me to return virgin media equipment which has been returned with the virgin media return package 3 years ago, claiming I signed with virgin media network last year 2020. Very embarrassing. Told her am driving but continue with the conversation.

The unsolicited caller claimed to be virgin media (I asked him to verify himself by quoting details from my account) and tried to sell me a faster broadband service (presumably at an inflated price). I told him I am not interested unless he is offering me a discount. Terrible marketing

Claimed to be from Virgin media and wanted me to return old eqpt as I had been disconnected 3 years ago. As I was not disconnected 3 years ago could not be true. However it took me to control the call and not let them try and get what info they wanted from me. As soon as they could not get what they wanted the call was ended very quickly by the caller.

Exactly the same! 3 years later asking for equipment back! Not sure if some sort of scam or legit but phoned virgin media and they was absolutely useless i would of been better ringing jet2 for a refund. Told them if they want the equpment back from 3 years ago (which clearly i haven’t got) then i will happily send it back once they have sent me my storage fees which are charged at £1 per day.. Problem solved ????????

Not a "review" of my Virgin Media package, but selling (Telemarketer) reported by


Offering a "review" of my Virgin Media package, but in reality only interested in increasing it overall. Repeatedly asked to reduce my TV package before being told I would need to do that via Cust0mer Services. The company is probably paid via a percentage on additional business, rather than providing a genuine service to meet customer needs. Not a good way to treat long-term Virgin Media customers.
