Got a call and i refused to give my details. Called virgin back and they have confirmed that they have called me. Thats the outbound department. Finally lodged a complaint for calling me that way and asking for details.

I eventually gave address but no other details- she had some details from virgin but not directly from virgin and not giving any real discounts with poor knowledge as is she had o look up everything, very difficult and telecom and behaviour not normal. i put the phone down and blocked caller. sounds very dodgy

I accepted the call the third time because I was becoming annoyed that this number would ring early on in the morning till late at night, no one answered to hello several times so I hung up, they still continue to call at stupid times so blocking the number.

Person on phone claims to be from Virgin Media offering a discount then ask for personal/security details. When I responded by telling them I will call Virgin on the offical contact number they claim to be a "different department" and the other departments won't be able to offer the discount. Clear fishing atempt. Do not give them any of your details and call back Virgin on their actual contact number from the website if unsure.

Wanted to know my home address I refused to give it and said if you're ringing me you should have my details. After arguing over this he hung up . I have subsequently blocked this caller on my phone.

I answered first time, said they were Virgin media, offering me a better deal than I'm currently on, was clearly a scam so hung up. Now they've rang me nearly every day for a fortnight, and don't say anything when I answer, it's creepy AF, blocked the number.
