said he's calling from British gas ⛽ advising about my boiler which I don't have any problem with. A lady called,said she's from Brtish Gas asking if i need to buy a boiler from them, told her to ask British Gass to send me a written letter confirming what it is am covered for with the amount they charge me Monthly. If she's unable to do that, i will ring them myself and shop around for a boiler when needed.

Supposedly British Gas needing to upgrade Snart Meter, but checking online at the same time showed this number has been reported 180,000+ times as a scam (although it is a legitimate BG number, spoofing at its worst). 'Politely' told the person to send info through the post and then hung up.

Asian woman who knew my name. Said she was from British Gas. I told her we have been receiving scam calls and British Gas should contact their customers by letter. She thanked me, used my name again (which I had NOT confirmed!) and ended the call.
