I got a call today from this number. The caller was male with an Asian accent. He said his name was D. W. He worked in the technical department for Windows of 'Your online tech partner'. I asked if he worked for Windows and he said no. I asked where he got my details and he was vague and evasive. He assured me that my computer had a very dangerous virus and if I could just go online he would help me sort it out. I told him I didn't need any help and hung up.

I have had a few calls from this no,& each time it's the same bloke with a different name. First time I asked what Co.pay,he put the phone down ( not to mentionsaying my mum's name wrong) today (Saturday 30 April @ 2.30 he phoned againcalling himself William saying I'm not trying to sell you anything. Again I asked his company name & he said it in a language I couldn't understand.yes he was Asian as well.I asked history the 2nd time not to phone him & he just put the phone no. Wonder where he s from if any

Received a call today from an indian sounding lady by the name of 'Sarah' purporting to be from Telephone Preferences Service and asking to confirm my details which I declined to do, when I pushed her for her name and advised her that I would report her to the police fraud department she hung up mighty quick. When I phoned the number 0203 198 8104 back an automated message stated that the service cannot be connected. TPS ought to be looking in to this scam because it's taking the pi*s out of them!

I got the first call yesterday and like the rest, it was an Asian speaker trying to get card details out of me which of course you are never asked for from the TPS. I said I didn't have it, he said he'd wait so I left him hanging for a couple of minutes then hung up. I was then bombarded relentlessly, every few minutes from the same number. They then started on my mobile number and in the past 24 hours have had in the region of 80 calls from varying numbers all when you type into Google link back to this scam.

Received two calls from this number today having received 5 yesterday on my answering machine. Same format as previous reviews ,confirm personal details then asked for card details, first one I left hang for 6 minutes waiting for me to go get my card, second one only lasted about 4 minutes before calling me back kept her hanging for about two minutes then kept her on the line while I asked a few questions, she got quite irritable at which point I told her there was no way I would give her my card number, and told her she should be ashamed of herself preying on innocent and vulnerable people, her reply " so you think your innocent" then hung up. Surely something can be done to stop these people. !!!!!

Just received a call from someone proclaiming to be from Telephone Preference Management. I confirmed the details he had for me (name and address) and then he passed me to his Manager. He then wanted my card expiry date???? I gave a false expiry date and then when he asked me for the long number, I told him that no way I was giving him this number and hang up. How can we stop these evil people?

Don't confirm anything. Some scam company climing they can't remove my information and wanting me to confirm the outdated information they have of me and update them. Only a retard would confirm informatio to them. Sounds like they are trying to do identity theft on you. They got my details off CV I submitted at job advertising site 4 years ago.

This no. has just called me and seems to know how much I pay for my monthly telephone charges and says he can get me much less per month. This outfit seem to be operating all different types of scams - no doubt if I had carried on with the call and agreed to have my telephone rental line reduced as he said he would ask for my bank details.

Just got a call from these knew my name and address asked me for my expirey date on my bank card, some thing to do with blocking unwanted calls, well there's was an unwanted call, put the phone down on her, do they think I'm going to give bank details out to some place I've never heard of.

Hi there all... I have today got a call from this number it's a none UK office using UK land numbers now iv only had my phone line for a week there is no way of my number and info being given out... Now I'm with BT to me this looks like the over seas BT call center have been taking numbers without bts say so as the DPA over there don't mean anything as it's UK law... I can tell you 100% they are not anything to do with TPS as I have called TPS after getting this call now ti have been told by TPS they know about this matter and if you get any calls from them to try and get as much info out of them and then call 03450 4000506 that's a number for Citizens Advice consumers and they're looking into this matter so any information you have will help to shut them down once again do not give them any information as they are not part of TPS

A very foreign sounding man called saying his name was Craig yet he could not pronounce English words correctly. Asked for a minute of my time and wanted to complete a survey. He knew my address and postcode and then asked my age. When I said I wasn't prepared to give it he said he only wanted to know if I was between 40 and 50 or 60 and 70. I told him I was under 10. He sounded incredulous and said, "Under 10. You are joking with me." and then he put the phone down. I have a feeling he would have wants more details and I suspect banking details may have followed.

Had this number calling me a few times, sadly for him I have the BT 8500 Call Guardian so beaten at their own game. Had to answer today due to expecting an important call, and this number rang. Answered and was telling me (not asking) to buy unwanted call protection. Didnt like it when I told him he was doing just that, and my phone blocks them at no cost. Told me to F off and hung up.

Caller gives me information on how he can stop unwanted Scam Calls. Has my Address, Phone Number, and informs me of how I pay my Telephone bill. States that my Subscription is due on the 16 th October 2015 and needs to be renewed. Will not take an answer of No Thanks I don't ever remember signing up for his service. Last resort------Put the telephone to the Radio for him to listen to Rod Stewart. Hung up quickly. SAD MAn

I've received this call twice in successive days. They seem to know all my details - suspect it is a direct result of recent TalkTalk hacking. These scumbags need to be caught - it is always the elderly and vulnerable who will fall victim to these criminals.

Ethnic Origin Man calling supposedly from Telephone Preference Management wanting to block all nuisance calls (tips meant to do this). Knew my name, address, phone number.how I pay my phone bill and asked for me to confirm expiry date on bank card. I refused, challenged him and he kept repeating he was TPM not TPS. I told him I was reporting the number and hung up.
