Knew my name and address. Wanted me to confirm that I paid my bill by direct debit. I asked her who my provider was, she guessed BT wrongly then said it didn't matter who my provider was! I put the phone down at that point and googled the number. Clearly a scam number as it is also listed for the microsoft computer scam!

had a few calls today about 6, every time i answered they hung up. claiming to be call blocking service , indian man asked if i had been receiving nuisance calls. it was the same person ringing the times before, and then they pretended to be from a phone blocking company. when i said i didnt want the service he said that i already had the service. he knew my name dont understand how he has the number as we're ex directory

Claimed to be from telephone preferences management wanting to upgrade my call blocking service. They had the previous occupant's name, got very stroppy when I refused to give mine. Insisted I'd signed up for their service even though they didn't know my name, obviously a scam so I hung up

they keep ringing if you dont speak, they ring you lots of times , to look like your getting nuisance calls from other people when in reality its the same person calling you pretending to provide blocking service

With a series of ever more specific questions they attempted to get details of my bank account. A search question was followed by an innocent enquiry followed by a Q. about my bank account on the pretext that I already had a direct debit with them on that number. all this despite the fact that my name is is not on the account and I dont pay the bill.

Said they were upgrading my telephone blocking system. Brackets TPS) the woman rang back twice from an Indian call centre.and was very insistent she knew my name and address.

They know your name and say they are from Call Management regarding call blocking. They want you to register on a website with your details. Don't get into conversation or give them any information. They rang me twice and each time I questioned them regarding it being a scam they immediately put the phone down on me.

Call centre - Marketing (Unsolicited call) reported by


This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck - just similar numbers (only two last digits different, so it is very likely the range of numbers used by the same call centre). People pls did someone answer this number, who is it? Similar numbers ae mostly reported as some indian call centre.
