Scam scam scam! Please avoid. They called me claiming they're from Nationwide and trying to protect me from se unauthorised transactions.... after all they cleared my 3 accounts!! Sounded very convincing so please be careful giving any information ober the phone.

This number is Nationwide B S. I received a text with an authorisation code for a purchase, (which I hadn’t made) text said to call this number if it wasn’t me. So I did, to be told there had been 3 attempts to use my credit card to make online purchases. If you search the telephone number on the Nationwide website it takes you to the details about verified by visa, and this is the telephone number to contact them! This number is genuine! Don’t be put off by their security checks to verify you. The number doesn’t call you, you call it!

Got a text from Nationwide asking me to call this number. I was suspicious it might be a scam so called the nationwide helpline on the back of my credit card and discovered there had been a few fraudulent transactions so the text appears to have been genuine
