Stating they were phoning on behalf of Sky Q, as per other entries "Ti" from Sky wanted address and password - not listening to responses saying I don't know who you are, why should I give you information, you called me..... ended up putting phone down.

Called under the guise of being from SKY but then asked for my password and security answer (didn't give). Later in the call reveal from Direct & General, an insurance service trying to sell me insurance for devices - which we already have covered under our contents insurance. No thanks.

Pretended to be Sky. Asked to confirm name and address and security question which I wasnt to happy about especially after finding out it wasn't Sky but a Domestic & General rep trying to sell me insurance..not happy with this scam at all...???? Shame on you Sky for allowing this company to scam your customers!

She rang on behalf of sky, bi asked which company are you ringing from if it's on behalf of sky, she said legal and general and wanted to give hints, tips and the sky welcome gift. She asked to confirm my name address and postcode, fair enough, she had them already, then she wanted my sky password which I can't remember or my secret question which she knew. I refused to give her this as I think it's probably a scam she said it's fine then hung up without giving any hints or tips

its not a scam. It's Domestic and General (D&G) insurance. they are sky's chosen insurance provider. If you have a Q box then its a waste of time as the box is owned by sky. any faults just call sky and they should replace it. If you have any other Sky box and don't want insurance then you can/should end the call too.

Calling me every 2 days. I looked the number up saw this website, but I became distracted and forgot to block them. Then has more calls - I never pick up number I don’t know. Even gp knows to ring me on a shown landline number. Finally blocked them

After checking my details which seemed legit, I was given 2 tips on using Sky Q, one was skipping adverts using Voice control and the other was splitting the screen in Sky sports. They then mentioned if I was interested in Domestic and General products. I know these are extended warranty and said I wasn't interested. The call ended nicely and I looked them up on the WWW. I think Sky must employ D&G or sell it's customer list to them. The number is now blocked

Calling to offer 3 months' free introductory offer (monthly fee thereafter) on SKy Q and other electronic equipment. They lead in the call with checking how your Sky Q installation went; whether you've downloaded all the apps, and making sure you've taken advantage of all the introductory offers (like free movie download through Sky Store). But the main reason of the call is to sell you the insurance.
