Number of missed calls. When they called at an appropriate time for me to answer they asked me to confirm my details and as they rang early and woke me up I gave it to them. They then asked to increase my insurance I said no they were polite and said they would update the system

I received a call from a lady on this 08005978628 number who said she's from Domestic and General and she was calling me regarding a recent insurance I took . She asked me to confirm my personal details for 'security reasons' and I told her if she's calling from D&G then she should already have my details because any random person can call and claim they are from any company. She then hanged up the phone. I suspect this to be a scam call.

Male called knowing my surname and referred to policy I bought when I purchased items from Argos. Requested I confirm personal details so they're systems are updated and it would make raising repair works easier. I said I wasn't comfortable giving any details and they said they would update this on their end. Felt like a scam!

Do not give any information, it is a scam caller UK based working in conjunction with an Indian company. They have some info due to a data leak so don't be fooled. Tell them you will call them back, instead call D&G and let them know.

Domestic and general. Called asking about my recent repair to my Indesit washing machine. Told me that they have an offer on appliance insurance and asked if I needed an appliance insured. Hoping that they are legit as they knew my name and that I'd recently had a repair done to my washing machine.

They're not legit. I got the phone number when I was looking for Natwest's fraud team and was discussing the money that hackers had taken out of my bank account. I put the number down as Natwest's fraud team and to my shock, they called late the next day trying to sell me insurance for some appliances I had bought from Argos. I've been having trouble with my phone being cyber hacked for nearly a year now and I had been discussing issues to do with this problem from a person from this number, thinking I was talking with Natwest's fraud team and then I get a call from that very same number trying to sell me insurance. That was just before the weekend, around the 19th of January 2022, a few days ago. I'd go change your bank card as quickly as possible. Kind Regards. Kate McHale.

I also got a voicemail asking me to fill out a survey from Domestic and General. Now I know why, as I've had no discussion or interaction with Domestic and General and so I've just looked the number up on Google and found all of this, other people mentioning the company, which explains the voicemail from Domestic and General. This is definitely a dodgy scam number.

Contacted the FSA and was given a number for D&G. This IS a SCAM. They do not use this number to receive or make calls. It has now been passed to G&Ds legal team. I was asked if I'd given any information out, which I hadn't and I was thanked for letting them know.

I have recently had a repair to my Indesit Tumble dryer through Domestic and General. I had let all my insurance lapse and so took them up on my repair plus two other items for a monthly fee for 12 months. As it was repaired yesterday I assumed it was a follow up call. I answer and they cut off no idea why.
