Claimed to be doing a survey on behalf of my bank (Lloyds) but didn't know my name. I don't know if they are legitimate but with the rise of phishing scams etc, I question the use of 3rd party survey companies being used by banks.

I phoned Halifax a few days ago and they rang me with an automated survey asking how I would rate them. It is NOT a scammer pretending to be your bank like some others have said.

Unless they were 'Vishing',I was careful about which words I answered with: I checked the phone number on the Internet afterwards; in my opinion the survey was genuine on behalf of Lloyd's banking services ;no account detail was asked for and my accounts were intact after answering the call.

Call from market research firm Motif on behalf of one of their clients which happens to be my bank. Had calls from them before so know the drill. As soon as the very pleasant girl calling realised that the information she had been given about my visit to the bank was incorrect, she apologised profusely for disturbing me and ended the call. Nothing to be frightened of and not a scam.

they ring every day 2 or 3 times asking to speak to my daughter state they are her financial advisors. She doesnt have one wont leave a message or a phone number when asked. Phone number comes up on phone so dont know why they wont give out the number.
