THIS IS NOT NATWEST. They told me their number would show as withheld number and they would ALWAYS leave a voicemail if they have tried to contact me. They also said they had NO record of trying to ring me. and that it would be a scam call.

Spoofed caller id scam. Do not answer the call and hang up. Using a different phone call back to check with NatWest and they will tell you if they have been trying to contact you. Remember they will never ask for your PIN code or ask you to transfer money. Do NOT use the same phone to callback or wait 15mins if you must use the same phone to check validity.

genuine Nat west. This is the number I have calles and gained Nat west agents on . This is a genuine number however if ever unsure always hang up and call the bank back after asking the previous agent to note the file. Check who called you and the department. I sorted out a Data protection issue and spoke to a Manager through this number and received a refund through this. This is genuine contact for the bank

I called the number back and advised that i missed a call from them and they they were natwest but what was strange was they said there was no note as to why, so whether they are scammers able to look like they called from natwest im not sure, but i told the lady on the phone the number and she said its def one of there numbers, So not sure whether scam or real but def natwest number

Suggested they are from nat west bank and querying if I had attempted to fill an online application form in, told him no so he was quite urrr and aahhh so I suugested he wasn't from Natwest and wouldn't give him any details, he wanted to go through security process but then put the phone down on me? so I don't think it is Natwest but scammers again!

Says it's Nat West and requires you to choose an option, however when I called into Nat west they have no record of contacting me. Seems to coincide with a person selling double glazing and wanting to give a quote another day. When I said that I was not interested he asked about the postcode for the area. May have nothing to do with it but the first phone call came later that day and several times yesterday. No message left. Recommend that you use another telephone to check.

Beware! It is a Natwest number, however there are scammers who use 'Caller ID Spoofing' into making your phone handset display genuine phone numbers.

Be careful. Although this is a Natwest number the call may not be from them but may be a very clever scammer making their call display on your phone as Natwest's number. Just had a call from this number and called Natwest on a different phone t find that they had no record of try into contact me. My advice is don't answer it, but dial the number back on a different phone (as returning the call on the same phone may route back the scammers).
