Woman called pretending to resolve a complaint issued by 'The Government' in regards to my electricity and gas accounts. Claiming it is highly urgent it gets resolved as it is a government order. The conversation quickly moves to asking how much I pay for electrics. This is not just a cold call, but a nasty scam call.

Woman called from what she was clamming to be the National Grid saying my electric company is overcharging me too much she said she can get it cheaper from another place. I told her I was not interested she kept phoning me over and over and over again probably about 12 times she ended up being really rude and saying I will continue to thing over and over again wasn't rude to her just ask her not to call. She kept on asking me lots of questions and then she started asking me a bank details

These people have too much time on their hands, have received calls from this number and 01225582872 which is the same guy. They know that we don't need their 'service' or whatever he was offering. Need to crack down on these guys as I'm already fed up from paying taxes to raise these **** in the country.

When I refused to give the owners mobile number the 'lady' told me to f**k off and hung up! Charming!! Don't bother getting into conversation with these people...if this is how they speak when they're trying to get your business- can you imagine what the actual service from them would be like!!

When picked up, a cold caller Indian scammer going by the name of Malik Awan (Likely a fake name) immediately asking for the Business Owner, I made him tell me his first name and after a bit of persistance his last name. Telling him he's wasting my time, company time and his time by not revealing his details. He was talking so fast that I made him repeat what he says so I control the pace of the call. Each time he persistently ask to speak to the business owner. I told him that the business owner do not appreciate the unprofessionalism in the call. After wasting his time for so many minutes, he given up and hung up.

called making out my energy provider were closing down, already had a lot of my info so believed him. He knew my business name everything, next thing I realised I was with opus energy. Reported to Action Fraud and police and OFGEM. He is still calling me now several times a day trying to make out he is from Scottish power. I know his voice and he is Asian calling himself Michael or Adam!!! Cannot understand why all these complaints and police still not doing anything!!!

Rang to speak to owner about being overcharged for my energy, said they could get my money back. Was then put through to a supervisor who told me that I was being overcharged 6 units in every 10! I asked how that was possible when I sent in readings every month? they said it was something to do with the meter and it turning!, I then politely told them I was on a digital meter and that I was in credit so how could I be overcharged? they insisted I could get a better deal if I gave them my details (shouldn't they already have them) I finished with I'm not interested in saving money as the tax man takes it anyway! then hung up.

They keep calling me but I find it quite entertaining to be honest. When they told me that I am paying too much for my electricity consumption I told them that that I was about to go off the grid because I had some workers installing solar panels and windturbines on my roof therefore didn't need their amazing electric contract. They still insisted to sell me their contract and I have stayed hours on the phone with them. Of course if you haven't got any time to waste there is always the possibility to hang up at any moment.

They said they were fitting a smart meter in tomorrow. My energy supplier DOESNT do smart meters on my prepay. Have just contacted my supplier and they dont know about them. Nasty/aggresive behaviour was very off putting and got worse when he was challenged.
