Energy wanted to supply new meter (Nuisance call) reported by


Phoned twice in 24 hrs. First time claimed to be from my electricity company and that I needed a new meter. When I pressed them as to who my electricity supplier was they got it wrong. The second call they claimed to be from the National Grid and again wanted to supply a new meter. I told them to make an appointment in writing. As I keep hanging up on them I can not be sure but I suspect this could be as scam. They are clearly not who they say they are and I would suggest they are treated with caution.

Aggressive but not abusive caller saying he was sending an engineer in 48 hours due to a complaint from our energy provider. we took over the phone number months ago from a chinese restaurant, explained i am not the restaurant, i am not at that address & i'm busy so please take this number off your list & don't call again. put the phone down & immediately he rang back - several times before i answered again & he asked why i hung up. explained again & hung up. rang back a few more times so i picked up, left him on hold for a bit and have had our IT block the number

This caller was extremely aggressive on the phone, I had trouble understanding him. He wanted to confirm the details of our address and told us we had been overpaying for our electricity. When I said we were not interested in switching provider, he promptly told me to F*** Off and P*** off!! Then hung up.

must of called us 20 times or more, claiming to be from different businesses each time they rang and different people. dont not trust them at all. The person who rings becomes very aggressive when questioned. you will have to block their number as they will not give up ringing.

Called asking about electricity supplier, how much we pay etc. Politely explained I wasn't interested and to have a good evening, he called back 3 times more and more aggressive, calling me stupid! Claimed to be from 'the biggest company' when pressed further he said NPower, he clearly wasn't! Hung up before he could carry on even more!

Claimed from national grid regarding a complaint about gas and electricity asked for previous owner. When i said send a letter he said he couldn't and needed to speak to owner demanding number. I asked for his number which he said 02038072313. Googled while on phone, and also this number he called from. When i said this isn't a national grid number he started swearing and put the phone down. Blatant SCAM.
