Had a call from this number..... a lady speaking to angry children in the background.... she was very rude to them and when I said hello she put the phone down...... very strange.

Firstly I was asked if I had a BT landline. Then was told they wanted to send me a diesel or petrol voucher and the amount seemed to depend on my age. She knew my address but I bet the voucher never materialises. I was also asked about all sorts of random things e.g. PPI, life insurance, energy supplier. I would not give her any information. She was very pushy and eventually I said that I would not answer any more questions so she rang off.

Unsolicited call. She started by asking if I shop at Sainsbury or Tesco. I asked where she was calling from: 'Watford'! No, what company are you with? Consumer Solutions Ltd. Me: Have I asked you to telephone me? Answer: No. Me: I know it is not your personal fault, but your company should not be making unsolicited calls. Silence, and call ends. Does the Information Commissioner not take the obvious step of monitoring sites such as this and take action? It seems not.

I have had a couple of calls perprting to be from "Consumer Solutions @ Watford.. you know near the M25.... They are now spoofing a local number to get you to answer, very persistent to get you to agree they have the correct name.. didnt get much further when kept asking to repay name and then what company... At start of call there is the usual call centre noise etc they got bored and hung up after I agreed they had a wrong Number

A very strong Caribbean accented gentleman calling on what appeared to be a poor quality Internet phone line. I could not understand where he said he was calling from or on behalf of what organisation. He launched into his script and seemed unfazed by me stating that the newspaper I read was the 'Mickey Mouse Weekly' and although chuckled did not question me further when I told him my age was 155. The 'interview' continued by me giving similarly stupid answers to some questions and refusing to answer others. Despite this he still attempted to get answers for the rest of his script; such as whether I had children, was in employment etc etc. At one time I berated him that he had not enquired about my shoes size. This call was a complete waste of his time as he gleaned no useful information other than I resented his call. At the end of the phonecall I pointed out that if he was calling on behalf of a UK company he was breaking the law as I was registered with the TPS.

These people are definitely scammers... and have no compunction about phoning an ex-directory number that is also on the TPS list repeatedly, so they are don't give a damn about the law.

This number is used for telemarketing purposes, mostly reported as Better Business Group/Injury Claim Lawyers/Consumer Solutions, insurance marketing or similar - in fact just some call centre, the number is very likely VoIP number, sometimes people rated it as an overseas number, so be aware. Definitely some call centre with marketing offers and mostly scam...

Said she was from Consumer solutions in Watford. When I said it wasn't a Watford number she said "yes, Watford near the M25". Anyway she prattled on for 6 minutes getting nowhere then told me that the call was being recorded for training purposes. "Good, because you really need it", I said and she put the phone down. A pain in the backside but I had time to "play " and while she was phoning me she wasn't harassing someone vulnerable.
