purported to be Telephone Preference Service. Very persistent. (Scam call) reported by Barney
Persistent and ultimately bordering on rude. Kept repeating, in a threatening manner, that he was going to discontinue our telephone barring service. Obviously working from a script. He reluctantly gave me his number and I said I would ring him back once I had checked it out. He has not rung back since. An obvious scam call.

Said they were Telephone Pref SErvice and that they had a newer s (Scam call) reported by Sylvia Bowen
Said they could offer a lifetime of never receiving calls from nuisance numbers for free. WAnted my bank account details which I refused, man started getting a bit pressing with wanting my details, still refused. They he obviously spoke from a script and very quickly rushed in saying that this would cost £21.99. I refused and he got quite angry asking why I didn't want this and I hung up. He called back 2 minutes later and was still being very aggressive so I said I'd ring the Police and report him for harrassment at which point he hung up. I can cope with these people, but feel very sorry for elderly or someone who didn't understand him as they would be paying £21.99 for nothing and his tactics were very intent.

Scam - Telephone Preference Management Services (Scam call) reported by David
Bogus company purporting to be Telephone Preference Management Services (note - this is not the Telephone Preference Service!!!) who called to offer an 'upgrade' to our call barring service which they claimed was about to expire. Absolute twaddle. This is a scam company. Do not confirm or provide any details to this company.
