I get really annoyed with these calls. The caller is obviously calling from India through a powerdialler. I asked where he was based, and he said London - lie number one. He then told me my computer was infected - lie number 2. I asked him to tell me my IP address, and he couldn't.

Called about my partners Windows licence - says he will need to cancel it immediatley as the security has been compromised - unless i have access to the pc to switch it on, in which case he can access the pc and solve all the issues........partner doesnt know any type of window other than the ones you look out of. Told them to cancel the non-existant licence and not to call me again

Claimed to be from Lincoln County Council then trying to follow up on an accident from 2 years ago. Told them again we'recommend not interested and then they kept going on. Even had the audacity to say we owed him an apology for disturbing us..... Wtf?

K. S. who rang on 02032876062 apparently works in the technical dept. with a BT ID BT0786, he tells me that I have security issues with my PC and wishes me to ring this number when I am in front of my PC so they can talk me through how to correct what they say is a security breach.

Claiming to be "Tech Support" and I had a virus. Complete tosh. Kept them at it for 15 mins then at the point where they would have installed malware from the site they wanted me to visit I said "I'm losing you, breaking up" and terminated the call. This resulted in 15 minutes of them trying to call back, phone was under the cushion.

A very rude man who told me he was receiving error messages from my computer. When I asked to be removed from their list he said this was impossible. Refused to put me through to a supervisor and threatened to "cut off" my computer if I didn't cooperate. Disgusting!
