My phone recognizes non trustworthy numbers and picked up on this one instantly, they have minimal information and guess the rest trying to get more detail on you, claiming to be a government operation. It's all pension based and very confusing and scary for the elderly

Always getting nuicence phone calls but always forget to check the number, remembered today though. Luckily my kids were being too loud so I couldn't hear the woman and she understood and said bye. Normally, even when I say I'm getting my kids ready for bed or even bathing them, they are still persistent that I talk to them, very rude and inconsiderate!

Just had the same call..foreign lady.. asking if I had a private pension and what age bracket I was in..then just rang off..is there actually a pension audit???

When I asked their company name, was told "Department of Pension Audits". I asked if it was a Government organisation and they said no, but they were regulated by the FSA and would like to give me a full audit of all my pensions. I said I wanted to know the name of the company for which they were a department and their company telephone number. At this point they hung up. Their English was very poor so I knew it was a scam anyway.

Received a call today from someone purporting to be called Jenna asking for someone who no longer lives here. When told this, she proceeded to try to question me as she ''calling from the Pensions Review Committee'' Having been told in no uncertain terms that my business was none of her business and to remove my number from her system, she advised me that ''as I was not willing to answer her questions, I must expect further calls from time to time''!!!! Breathtaking cheek!! I then told her that I would be reporting her/them to the appropriate legal authority for unsolicited calls, only to have the phone put down on me!! Beware, never does the DWP/Pensione Service use anyone remotely like this.

ask for a Mrs Douglas - (not me) i said wrong number and she asked em to answer 4 questions and then i hung up why ask for a name if anyone could answer those questions said it was form of Consumer Information Bureau
