Another call from the "Microsoft Technical Department" (not!) who claimed to be having error messages from my pc. I enjoyed playing along with them for 25 minutes, pretending to be quite stupid. The call ended when I was asked, "You are connected to the internet, aren't you?" My reply was, "What so that I could crooks like you access to my computer?" The line immediately went dead.

Don't be fooled, these are scammers who will ruin you and you PC by installing Malware software. They are not from Microsoft, play along if you wish, but be careful.

I did not pick up this call which was made at a few minutes past ten in the morning (BST). so I do not know what type of call it was. I found the number through 1471. I get so many unwanted calls - more than 95 percent of all my calls - I rarely pick up now, (I only have a telephone for emergencies as I am accident prone)

I get the silent treatment then a ladies voice saying "Goodbye"I even have a call blocker on, the caller has to physically press the number 5 and they still get through although not nearly as often, as the number is revealed why can the phone company not put a stop to it I wonder?

Had several calls from 0203 numbers block each one as they come in. One day we will find these scammers and we will have justice. The trouble is telephone companies are to busy making money to care about the little people who are being scammed hourly.

Two phone calls from this number within 5 minutes - first one asked me about which computers I owned (luckily they are my husband's so I said I didn't own a computer - telling the truth you see) and the caller hung up. The second one rang soon after but dialling tone when I picked up. But they did leave their number on 1471 so I thought I would check it out and hey presto - found this site. What a load of scammers. Please be careful out there.

Lots of calls picked up by my Call Guardian- they never leave their name - just keep calling. DO NOT ANSWER ,I'm sure it is a scam. Just google the number, they should be shot at dawn, trying to Scam the UK public

Aaahhhhhhhh! New pattern. First you get an unidentified non UK call that is silent. An hour later you get calls from these charlatans. I wish I could automagically route unknown calls via shouldianswer.co.uk, like an adware filter, as it is I keep the page open in my browser.
