Rang saying they were BT and they had identified activity on our ispn and they were trying to stop hackers hacking our information ! Shame we are aren't with BT !

Fix BT internet problems (Scam call) reported by Chris
Have received several calls in last few days from "BT" saying they will fix internet problems. However I dont have a BT router so this must be a scam - when I asked them for a number so that I could call them back and verify it was BT they gave me this one. Also when asked they had no idea what equipment they think is installed.

Broadband Problem (Call centre) reported by Sue R
Called and said they were from BT and they were going to disconnect my internet due to 'hackers' having access to my account. hey said to fix the problem they had to have access to my computer. Couldn't tell me who provided my broadband or any other details.

i had the same call, its a complete blag and they will log in to your pc and try drain your bank account
