Phoned three times saying it was extremely urgent si phoned back he said my phone number was not on his system what was my first name so I told him he said he was from hmrc and I need a solicitor as I was being done fir fraudulent tax this really shook me up and I told him I have worked all my life and have paid tax correctly

Left message on my answer phone asking me or my solicitor to call back immediately to resolve the issue . I rang back and an asian man answered i exolained why i was ringing then he asked for my tel number i would not give it to him he asked me 3 time for this each time i declined , I said i just wanted to know about the message that had been left but he asked for the tel number again i said no yet again then he told me to Fxxx off and put the phone down

Demanding 4000 pound payment or a police officer was going to cime and arrest her. Phoned the tax office and they told me it was a scam.

Appear to be a scam perporting to be HMRC (Robocall) reported by


Att mets to suggest HMRC requiring immediate call back. All the Hallmarks of a scam. This was received twice in an hour on a customers phonre so not linked to an individual and hence not appropriate. I recommend not to respond in case it is set up as a premium rate number.

They ask you to not ignore call and answer right away. The robotic voice suggests inland revenue wish to discuss fraud.. do not call!!!
