They call to offer you a better deal than your previous one. I am moving abroad and cancelled sky. You would think a big company would have better inter staff or computer system that would update people who have left and will not be able to take the offer. They are as dumb as they come

I was called to confirm that my new sky package was now active. There was an issue a couple of days before which prevented the agent from completing the process. I was expecting this call, very short call and professionally dealt with.

it is time for government to ban sales of any phone numbers be they to a mobile or landline, unsolicited messages or calls be given heavy fines for the cold calling these companies do.
