Called about my Sky hd box as i have just joined Sky. asked my full name,address and said they had no password for me so could i give them last 2 digits of bank account number if I had it to hand. I told him I didn't and the call was ended.

This a call from a company calling themselves 'Domestic and General Insurance operating for Sky if you wish to remove yourselves from these calls, call 0800 083 2084 you will be asked to give your phone number and postcode, it will take 30 days for 'Sky' to remove you from the marketings calls database

Apparently on behalf of Sky but asking for security information, I ask why are they calling and they didn't really give me an answer so no security deets handed over and ended the call.

Called me a couple of weeks ago to try and get my to get sky insurance for my hd box etc. I had just got sky so was unsure what to do. Tried to tell me all sorts and I clicked - could be a scam so asked if they could call me back on Friday - said yes... Only just calls back... 3 weeks later... Hmmm... BLOCKED.
