said they were from PayPal and asked me to confirm my email address with them. when I said I wanted to know why they were calling before I gave out any information they said that I had to confirm who I was before they could tell me. I told them if they were from PayPal they could email me with any requests and not to call me again

personal info of a third person asked, callback refused (Scam call) reported by


man wanted to talk to someone who could be family member but got surname wrong, said is from PayPal but they won't phish for personal information about a third person in an unsolicited call, has to be a criminal outfit. Caller ignored request to have me call back on a PayPal number, sure proof of a fraudulent scheme.
