SCAM CALL. No British bank would call you on a British bank holiday. I believe all the positive reviews on here are from actual scammers to make it look legitimate.

Banks in the UK DO NOT close on bank holidays only the high street stores do. its 2022 not 1950 banks will call you on a bank holiday.

A very fuzzy message was left on my mobile and I could just make out the words Halifax and transactions. I called the main credit card contact number listed on the Halifax website and they were able to confirm the call was genuine and was a fraud check about an online purchase we tried to complete last night.
