Automated call saying they were from the DWP telling me my NI number had been suspended due to criminal activity on it and then told me to press 1 to speak to an officer. I immediately hung up. That’s not how the DWP operate. Never press 1, as it will take you through to a premium rate line.

Two calls from this number on successive days. First time the line was empty, like phishing calls. Second time the line was initially empty, then line clicked and a woman asked me if I was me (she gave my name). It was a poor connection so I said I couldn’t hear her and she said she’d try to phone back on another line. She didn’t. Number now blocked.

call from a lady called rachel, knew I had a complaint in to RBS about monthly bank charges and gave her minimum information as they do ask security questions on DOB , address etc , answered the questions but like all the other informants there are so many bams out there trying it on !

Wanted to discuss my PPI claim on behalf of RBS (Unsolicited call) reported by


I got a call from this number and spoke to a woman called Elizabeth that said she was currently dealing with the Ppi claim I've opened with the RBS ( true, I have via the Financial Ombudsman), unsure if it's a scam as I do have a claim open and have been told to expect a call. when I wouldn't confirm and personal details she was happy for me to call me back via the phone number on my confirmation letter so didn't seem dodgy, the problem is I now can't find the letter to check with them! :/
