When I heard the extremely strong foreign accent and her saying she's calling from Halifax, I hung up. I've never had a call from Halifax ever but was getting numerous calls from this number. Saw the various comments on here & thought I'd call the number by using an app. An automated msg about being Lloyd's, Bank of Scotland & Halifax was played then the line was cut. As I've overdrawn at Halifax, I thought I'd give them a call. Halifax mentioned they have no record of calling me, not to give out any of my details & that all call centres are in the UK! BEWARE!

Lloyds Credit Card Collection Department (Financial services) reported by


I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sorted my problems but caution is advised.

A warning to all- most of these companies use an automated dialling system. They set the transmitted Caller ID and therefore can appear to be anybody!!!!

This no. Keeps ringing my house phone and mobile they are not leaving a message not even speaking the 2 times I have answered after reading other comments I'm ignoring it now. If it's important genuine I'm sure a letter will follow shortly tho they have been ringing get a good few weeks now. Block it cos so.easy of these no.s charge high rates wen called bk.
