A Filipino lady rang & said she was from Lloyd’s personal banking. She asked very personal questions, which at that point my daughter said if she needed help she would go into her bank in person. The lady was polite but the questions were however not very professional.

get calls about 5 times a day. its alaways an Asian person to call me and do ask me by name but one minute its the bank of Scotland then its a completely different bank the next time they call but always the same number !!! defo a scam

BANKING - asking for personal info (Telemarketer) reported by


Woman comes on sounding Asian, then Scottish. Asks your name then says she's calling from one of a range of banking or savings companies such as Halifax of Royal Bank of Scotland until you choose one you use [I didn't answer that] She apologises and says her system has just gone down and can I wait then puts you on hold and comes back with an option of RBS. She keeps saying I fully understand if you don't want to carry on with the conversation in a reassuring voice - she's very good at persuading you she is genuine !!! These people have rung my mobile several times but never leave a voicemail when I don't answer. immediately after I told her that I didn't want to give her any personal information at all this same phone number rang my mobile twice - but left no voicemail. The mobile call terminates so you always need to ring the number back. Been going on for a couple of weeks. MY ADVICE: Don't speak to them at all - fraudsters for sure.

"Lloyds Bank" (Unsolicited call) reported by


Unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from Lloyds Bank. Asked for me by name and then asked me to answer three sucurity questions. I said I didn't do that over the phone from someone who could claim to be anyone. They gave me a number (0808 145 0411) to call them back on. It looks lkike a scam.
