called claiming to be three. I googled the number and asked if they could prove it, they couldn't. They asked me for my date of birth and address and I said online it was saying it's a scam. I said I'd enquire about this call on the Three app which I did. Three said it COULD have been their sales team calling about an offer, but the lady I spoke with briefly on the phone said it was URGENT, so Three suggested always checking with them on the live chat section of the app, if you're unsure.

Three do have outside lines they call you from..I had a call and thinking it was a scam I called three myself they verified this was a legit number ..it's collections so if you owe them pay up and you'll stop getting calls..they also use a few other numbers to find new customers to sign up with....

I had a call from this number stating that I had a different contract with three when I told them that I had now left three. I told him a didn’t have another contract with three and before I hanged up the phone he tried to convince me he was genuine by saying if I did not want to speak to him to call back.I contacted three through the chat online and they CONFIRMED this is a scam as I did not owe any money and my account was closed.

This is a genuine three collections number. The people marking it as spam clearly don't know what spam means as they either owe money to three or someone has used their number when opening a three account. Pay your bills and they won't call.

The people making those comments have checked their accounts and been advised they owe nothing. They've also been advised by the supplier that it's a scam! Maybe read the comments properly?!

Not a scam! Three customer services chasing up a £14.50 missed payment on our home broadband account. Paid it and that was that.

Three, Claimed i owe money. Had all my details but i refused to go through security. I rang 333 and they confirmed i have a small outstanding balance. I got them to reissue the missing bill. , May be a scammer spoofing legit three number, also might be three!

Missed a call so read these reviews. Mixed. When they called back they had some knowledge of my old account. They asked security questions and i made up the post code and that was ok. But my fake dob raised issues. They knew it was wrong. So.... They have some info, but if a scammer why not ignore the wrong dob they have scalped and continue with the scam? Instead, with the fake dob, she said i needed to log on to my account online to sort an issue. Very strange

I am with Three Mobile but I didn't recognise this number. I missed 7 calls from them while at work. I just called the real Three hotline and asked if this was their number. They confirmed it is fraudulent and recommended I block immediately. They also confirmed I have no old bills to pay, there are no flags that need attention on my account, and as I am a long way from the end of my contract there is no reason for three to contact me with offers. If you have given your information to them or paid up an old bill, close your bank down and change all your three information cos you are going to be very poor soon! * Again - CONFIRMED: FRAUDULENT PHONE NUMBER * If in doubt, call three from the number in your welcome pack or their website etc to ask why you have missed calls!

Three Debt Collection - Yes, it is Three Mobile, and Yes it is an Indian call centre. IT IS NOT A SCAM. Three Mobile move their old accounts which have outstanding debts to oversees to collect them, they don't operate them from the UK call centres because they want good customer feedback from them, but for customers who have already left and owe them money, they don't care so they ship they accounts off. If you ignore that you own them money it will affect your credit score and eventually it will go to debt collectors - much easier to just pay it off over the phone when they call you if you can in one go, or set up a monthly payment with them like I had to do for my ended contract. It's legit, it's not a scam, everyone stop freaking out so much.

I have been called from this number, all Indian accent, speaking English. They scammed me out of £39. If you google "Three's Customer Service Number" you will get routed to these same people on 3g.co.uk (which is NOT three.co.uk) As far as I know, Three's number is 0333 338 1031, so it's very close.

I refused and called Three to ask if this was genuine and they said there was no problem with my account. They told me they would never ask for your security details on an outgoing call and that I should not answer the phone to this number anymore.

An indian guy called me asking my bank details.He said i had to do my payment through the phone.He knew how much my last payment should be and some other details like my date of birth and postcode. I asked him to wait a min and i searched the number on google i saw a lot negative comments, afterwards i called three to ask them if it was them they said it wasnt. All three numbers start with 0333 Be aware!! the people that say its not a scam plobably are the scammers

Definitely a scam that has some of your details about your 3 cancelled account. Trying to make me pay when they owe me a refund for an account that was cancelled within the 14 days grace period. SCAM, do not give them any money!!!

An Indian gentlemen called me and knew all the details of my contract, although wanted the card details and I have refused. I called three and they confirmed the number is legit, I completed the payment via telephone call with them directly. If you not trust the person calling you, call the company and always verify!
