Number suddenly calling me out of the blue every day for no reason. I spoke to someone who claimed to be 3 mobile. I told them I was unwilling to discuss bank details when I have no proof they are from 3. They sent an email from three domain, however as the sender in emails is easy to spoof, this hardly constitutes proof! When I challenged this, they sent me a text message with a link to a random product on the three website, which seems suspicious af, as again this provides proof of nothing other than the fact that the scammers are trying their best to offer up 'proof' when challenged, while the proof they are offering proves nothing at all. Literally anyone could send me a link to a product on a 3 website.

Answered they asked to speak to someone completely different, I told them that’s not me, they stated they wanted to speak with the owner of the number ending xxxx they stated they must have the details down incorrectly on the database. Declined to discuss any further, ended the call.

I only answered because 0800 numbers tend to be from more legit organisations such as hospitals or government organisations. Imagine my dismay when ‘Steve’ from the Gujarat SORRY, Blahdeblah Limited, who positively definitely isn’t using a fake name, tried to press gang me very rudely, into buying a mobile contract, despite my telling him that there IS no contract out there that suits my needs, that costs less than I’m currently paying. He tried to convince me that, in that case, I didn’t know what I needed. He then went on to start questioning me about other people in my house (in my case, my son) and HIS minute/data requirements. Clearly poorly trained and doesn’t know when he needs to quit and try another day. Crazy.
