I answered by saying “hello” and the male person with Indian accent asked if they were speaking to a Hamzer something. I said that they had the wrong number and that I am not that person and i asked them to remove me from their list. They repeatedly tried to get my name which I refused and hung up. I called the number back and it sounds like a corporate voice announcement, but the announcement does not mention who they are , but gives options to press 1, 2 etc. I did not try any options.

Caller had wrong name but still wanted to speak to them! I am also out of UK, so he wasn't even bright enough to hear the different ring tone. Probably cost me to answer the call but after I told him it was an international call I hung up. Where do these **** come from??

SCAM call from "three" (Scam call) reported by


This is a scam call. The person asked for me by name and asked me to confirm my personal details. I said "no, who is this", she continued trying to get my details and said it's a call for a "special offer from three" where I can sign up for a "free brand new smart phone" with no payment up front, if I "confirm my card details" The company Three said they have not authorised any marketing calls of this nature. Scam call, do not give your personal information.

They might be annoying but they are a legitimate company. I took out a phone contract with ID Mobile which is really the Three network. I ticked I was interested in phone insurance during the application. They said they'd be in touch, this was why they called me.
