FRAUD. Someone called me from this number claiming that they were from the FCA and that my accounts were hacked and that I needed to move my money to a 'safe account'.

Scam pretending to be RBS fraud line. This number does not match (Robocall) reported by


The scammers sent me 2 texts, 1 from RoyBankScot and 1 from an unknown number. The first text informed me of fraudulent activity on my account. The second text detailed 3 transactions, 2 of which were the actual last 2 transactions on my card, the other one was made up. They then followed this up from a call from this number to my Mobile. They rang twice and I blocked the number. The scammers then rang my home phone. Always phone your bank using the numbers on your cardorvtheir verified website. Never call back a number like this.

Claimed to be rbs fraud line. didnt seem right I hung up and rang my bank and they confirmed it was a scam caller trying to get me to log into my account whilst on the call so they can clear my account of funds. DONT FALL FOR IT!

Called to say I had fraudulent transactions on my account, and when I asked which card it was, the person gave me a card number that I no longer have. 100% NOT RBS. This was verified when I telephoned the fraud number on the back of my card and was told the fraudsters are very clever and use intelligent software to spoof the display on your phone so an incoming call shows what seems to be a genuine number. AVOID ANSWERING AT ALL COSTS!!

Text and called me , said my card blocked due to suspicious Activity, said I was working, he ask to call him back, did so but the automated call didn’t recognise my account from my number, odd !! Then spoke with someone who wanted my account number and sort code , strange when they can get it with my address and date of birth, phone bank instead, be aware !!! Feels like a scam

Fraudulent transactions had been carried out on my account, this is a genuine number from the RBS who helped trace and deal with the problem. Genuinely genuine!

I received a call from this number at 2.30am and spoke with a girl who said she was with RBS Fraud department and there was suspicious activity on my account and they would need to cancel my card. She didn't ask for any personal or security information but did say if I needed access to funds while waiting for a new card I could transfer money to another account, I said I don't do online banking so she offered me advice on avoiding fraud and even sent a follow up email. I followed up with my bank manager who confirmed that this was a scam and they had spoofed the RBS numbers to try and build a relationship with me, card genuinely cancelled now

I’m in no doubt this was genuine, text messages part of a series from my bank about various transactions. The call I made to this number I had checked and I was able to confirm that 4 blocked transactions were fraudulent. Card was cancelled but better safe than sorry.

This is a safe number. I have just used this, completed the automated request to confirm some transactions. I tried to pay for something in the early hours of this morning that a company had set up a link but with my husbands name so it declined on my card. I'm happy the fraud team then blocked my card and checked this. I then contacted RBS and spoke to a real person to check that it was not fraud and the lovely person confirmed that she could see on my notes that I had jusy confirmed it using this number and now my card has been unblocked. I didnt even now it was blocked and I've just arrived at the shops!

received a call from this number as robot asking me to dial 1 to speak to RBS fraud team. i spoke to RBS on the correct number and this is nothing to do with them. please block from your phone after the first call. called me 8 times yesterday, very desperate fraudsters.
