You don't know what you are talking about, this is dwp I spoke to them and they wanted to confirm that I had tried to update information, I HAD NOT CALLED THEM, it turns out someone tried to alter bank accounts but dwp knew it couldn't be me because the caller was too young. I then phoned a different number which was on letter from dwp. If you try to call above number a recording says we called you earlier and will call you back if we need to speak to you.

my son went to the job centre to make a new a new claim yesterday he said everything went ok and would get a text frfom them within 48 hours he got woke up by this number half asleep all he heard was pension service can you talk he explained not at the moment I have just woken up the lady said he would get a letter in the post in the next 5 working days is this the DWP ?

I have my details to the you women but I have never been phoned in a Sunday which is weird and she kept on laughing through the call and when I said I dont trust it she laughed again.

Had same call today, left message, then called me back saying from DWP to discuss my recent claim for Universal Credit. I have not made a claim for Universal Credit, and refused to give him any personal details as the call was unsolicited. He said he'd cancel my claim (?). Sounds dodgy to me. Now blocked.

A very nice young lady phoned me to confirm details about my first Winter Fuel Allowance Claim form. Very quick and very professional. I wish all callers were as nice as this one was. A real credit to the DWP. Sure she will go far.
