A 4 minute silent call. Whirlpool are pretending to make an effort to fix these tumble dryers, but it is just for show. Never buying from them again.

I've had numerous calls regarding my tumble dryer, asking the same information over and over again. I booked an apt and no one turned up! However, they are keen and to say that I can buy a new one from them, I bet I would get that within a couple of days. Very poor.

These people bust my chops. I've had four failed appointments for the modification cos the engineers can't be bothered. They just waste my time. A full year has passed with me not getting to use my tumble dryer. I've told them to stop calling me and I replaced it myself but they still keep calling and calling and calling. So utterly sick of this harassment. Why won't they just leave me alone?

This was Hotpoint phoning to arrange for an appointment for an engineer to modify my tumble dryer which is down as one of the dangerous ones, this is definitely not a scam.

They left a message saying they were from Indesit and would call another time. I haven't bought anything from Indesit EVER and would not have given them my phone number if I had so I know they are blaggers. DON'T tell them ANYTHING. Even better don't answer your phone to unrecognised numbers. If you don't have caller recognition let it ring and dial 1471 to see who it was. If you pick up the phone you confirm they are ringing a valid phone number and they will sell it on and or pester you even more. If it were genuinely Indesit and they couldn't reach you by phone they could reach you by emailing or writing to your address which they could find via delivery details. I don't know who these people really are but they are not Indesit and the message they left was very unprofessionally muffled. Absolute nonsense and probably after any personal details they can get to sell on or to open bank loans in your name.

Rang me and left muffled message regarding my tumble dryer repair at 11.30 last night! Said not to ring them back and they'll try and contact me again. Like they said last time, about 2 months ago. I think I'll be contacting Watchdog instead.

This number called our house at 11.43 AM last night!!! That was bad enough BUT as my 92 year old mother-in-law is ill in hospital you can image what we thought the 'ringing' may mean. Thankfully it was not news about her but then asked who they were got no reply - no doubt an automated machine at the other end!! Have these programmers got no sense or consideration??

I presume this is with reference to fixing the problem with our tumble dryer. We have on that is reported to catch fire if the lint filter is not cleared after every use. I have been waiting for them to call. It was a pity I was in the bath when they called. Oh welll. They say they will call back.
