I contacted my bank and they confirmed it's scam. (Scam call) reported by


I answered the phone and some lady said she was calling to set up appointment to talk about my interest etc. Didn't ask any personal details or anything either. Seemed genuine enough but I contacted my bank and they confirmed that this is a scam.

I received a call from this number pertaining to be from Lloyds offering me to come into branch " to help make some money". I checked with Lloyds Fraud department if this number is registered with Lloyds and it definitely isn't. Do not give them any details , hang up and contact real Lloyds.

Left a voicemail using my full name, English lady from lloyds asking me to call back but "nothing to worry about". I immediately checked with loydds themselves and checked number with does not show as one of their secure numbers they call from. Therefore told to block the number and do not reply at all. I knew lloyds don't call unless requested or a missed appointment

Had message left after missing their call, said they were from my bank and it was very important, well spoken english, very friendly voice, but glad I checked here first and then called my bank myself who confirmed there's nothing on my account that requires a call, never had one in my 18yrs of banking with them, the message said they would call back later this week so stay tuned for round 2!

This number left me a voicemail with branch name and number to call back on, the number was a mobile registered with Vodafone, I then used the banking app tk call Lloyd's back securely who told me that a specific branch would bever call me, and there is no reason on my account that Lloyd's would need to call me.
