Just phoned Virgin to get a new sim sent to me and 10 minutes later got an unsolicited call, which I did not take, from this virgin number. It may have been to rate the service of my previous call - the phone has just rung again as I type from the same number - I will not answer it now at all as I feel I am being pestered.

as i work for a call centre inbound, these surveys help the company and agents improved there service. this is for virgin media and is not really an issue

Virgin called me on my landline number which they only got because I phoned them earlier regarding unsolicited marketing and they had the audacity to then call me for feedback regarding their service. I did not give them my landline nor did I give permission for them to contact me for such purposes. When I tried to complain about this latest unsolicited intrusion (this time putting 141 before I dialled their number)it took 4 attempts before I got through to the right person. Virgin you should be ashamed of your customer service and unethical behaviour. Further unsolicited contact will result in a formal complaint to the ICO for breach of the Data Protection Act and I would urge others to do the same.
