Said he was from virgin and he needed to cancel my card. (Scam call) reported by


Called saying he was from virgin and there had been some fraudulent activity on my card and he would need to cancel it. Asked him to prove he was from virgin and he said to see he was calling from the number on the back of the card. Started to try and take my card numbers, I did give him some but then realised it didn't seem right, hang up and called virgin they said it wasn't them. Have now cancelled card. It is there genuine number so if in any doubt please hang up and call it back.

It is the phone number mentioned on back of card, also seen in Online Banking. Yes it could be a fraudulent call you received, but is the same number you’ll call to speak to them.

claimed to be virgin credit card fraud - he was a scammer!! (Scam call) reported by


He called my husband claiming to be virgin credit card fraud dept. He got information from my husband but I refused to give my joint card information without calling Virgin directly. He continued to try and get information but I refused and while on a call to Virgin he hung up but still set up a mobile app to use my husbands card. Virgin have now cancelled our cards.

I confimed with NatWest bank that this is a scam call. (Scam call) reported by


I called the official NatWest Fraud number to report this call. Natwest Fraud team confirmed this is a phishing scheme pretending to be NatWest bank. I was advised not to respond to any of the calls and not to engage with this number in any way. Their purpose is to gain personal informaiton and scam individuals. I was also advised to monitor my account for any abnormal transactions. Advice is to ignore this number and not give personal informaiton away.

Have received two letters saying I had credit card.which I don’t.went thtough long long wait to talk to fraud dpt. received second letter asked me security questions.how can they have answers if I never applied? Told if I didn’t give them I couldn’t be put through to fraud dept. I refused told I would be put through. No one picked up
