HSBC fraud team. Called due to an unusual payment made in another country on my company credit that didn't fit with normal payments. Money refunded and card now cancelled to stop any future payments. Did not ask for my card details but did ask me to confirm a number of recent purchases, they gave me the info not the other way round. Well done HSBC for being alert and acting so swiftly.

This is HSBC FRAUD DETECTION. Someone had tried to buy from a motorcycle dealer with my card details, they have assured me the transaction has been refused and no money has gone from my account.

Did not answer but googled number and showed up as HSBC FRAUD. Contacted my bank who did checks and no fraud notes on my account so they don’t think it was them who called. If unsure contact your bank directly do not answer any questions wanting any details. Tell them you will contact the bank directly when you are speaking to them. Had to tell the genuine callers from the scammers now.

Received a call from this number and was told there had been an attempt to purchase US currency on my card. I independently called HSBC on their fraud number and they confirmed that this was a legitimate call and someone had indeed been trying to steal my money.
