The number called and said he was a bank representative and that we had had our account hacked. Then he started checking our data and after some time 400 f disappeared. Transfer entitled as family. Don't answer that number !!!!

Barclays call - I don’t bank nor have I ever with Barclays. Believable as the automated voice said my name on the call and then asked me to press 1 if the call was meant for me. Just hung. Up!

Scammers using the customer service number from Barclays Bank, in order to pretend they are calling from the bank fraud department. This is an authorised push payment scam. Ignore any calls from this number, or any pertaining to be from Barclays. SCAM, BEWARE!

I just had a call from Barclays .very posh mans voice ..he said £345 taken from my account in London .oh you are not in London then it’s fraudently taken from your account .said if I use my phone and put him on hold he can walk me through getting it back on my on line account.talked a lot quite convincing.especially saying he could get it put back into my account ....told him I will walk to my bank and sort it with them as it’s just up the road ..

THEY WILL TELL YOU THERE HAS BEEN A FRAUDULENT ATTEMPT ON YOUR ACCOUNT (TRANSCATION) AND THEN PROCEED TO TAKE YOU THROUGH VARIOUS LOG INS TO GET INTO YOUR BANKING APP - THEN PUT YOU ON HOLD, ASK YOU MORE QUESTIONS ALL WHILE USING YOUR ACCOUNT TO APPLY FOR LOANS AND TAKE MONEY. THEY HAVE CLEARED OUT ALL MY SAVINGS AND CURRENT ACCOUNT - PLEASE BEWARE & HANG UP.

They called pretending to be Barclays fraud department. They got my card details wrong and the supervisor 'Daniel' was very angry when I pointed out they were suspicious. He did not want me calling back Barclays to speak to the fraud department to 'verify my details'. He eventually hung up on me when he realised I wasn't going to give him my account details.

If you receive a phone call from this number please put the phone down. It is a scam. I have been a victim of this through this number. They told me it was the Barclays fraud department and attempts had been made but the real scam happened while I was on the phone not knowing they were getting the rest of my details to take a loan from my account. First I received a text message from ‘EE’ then I put my details in and then two days later got a phone call from this number who I found out from my bank after ringing them myself was the actual scammer. I’m usually very on the ball and ignore every text, call etc but due to life circumstances my head isn’t where it usually is. Please do not make the same mistake I did. It’s a scam. Hang up and ring your bank yourselves or whoever they pretend to be. Luckily without me know my bank reconisgned something was wrong and cancelled my bank accounts before any money could be transferred. This person was professional please do not answer or give your details out. They originally texted me from a mobile number which I thought was EE.
