Never answer calls if i don't recognise the number. Number now blocked after reading other reviews. Never give out your bank details...remember banks and HMRC never call you. If in doubt..call your bank or HMRC directly!!

I answered for fun. It was ‘HMRC’ informing me that due to fraudulent activity, there is a warrant out for my arrest and to press 1 for further info. I did. Line went blank.

Called telling me they are the HMRC with a warrant of arrest for tax fraud in my name. Said I had to press 1 to speak to an agent (this is where they harvest your bank details) I just hung up and blocked the number - HMRC will NEVER operate like this or any bank for that matter... Please be aware of scammers calling you.
