In other words Lowel have bought the debt which makes them 3rd party interlopers and are trying their best to get a contract from you by talking to them or acknowledgement from you that you owe the money. Take nothing to do with them you owe them nothing you don't have a contract with them. Good try Paul you obviously work for Lowel with your comment.

I thanked them for consolidating a few debts I had, and paying them off for me. Such nice people to pay my debts off for me, without even contacting me. I tried to thank them profusely on the phone but I was met with silence. Great job Lowell ????????

Lowell are a good debt collector I have blown in so much as a teen its been chasing me ever since but before Lowell Debt collectors didn't want to work with me and wanted more to pay off there clients debt they bought. Now getting letters off Lowell I ignored at first (didn't want to deal with the reality of paying up) then eventually grew up the final letter was I didn't have to talk to a human I could set up payment options through the portal and I did. I've set up 6 plans I've paid in each month what is manageable to me and it's working I've never missed a payment so much so (getting back to the original point) I got a call from the team to say I have cleared two of my accounts and would I like to move the £6.50 to one of the other accounts yes its that low remember it's what you can afford not what other debt collectors want from you and not paying a silly fee. I hope by sharing my story it helps someone who is looking to see who has called and it hasn't scared them making a difference to there own life if Lowell are calling you. You owe money to someone at least with Lowell you set up what you can afford not be told what to pay.

You are not debt collectors! You are debt buyers that is you’re first bit of misinformation. Replying to your own comments is you’re second! If you were a legitimate company you wouldn’t need to stoop to levels of any misinformation. Now please stop harassing nice people. If you’re in the business of buying debts from companies i imagine you didn’t pay the full price of the debt so therefore are fraudulently claiming a debt that you have paid. You can buy the debt but you cannot buy a contract so therefore nobody needs to pay you a penny! Next time you want to pay someone’s debt off be kind enough not to harass them. Thank you.

they wanted to speak to a tina hammond a name i have never heard of they asked my postcode and house number and stated it wasnt the address they were after this company have also rang using 03335565842 and 03332029500 i informed them if they rang again i would make a complaint due to GDRP non-compliance.

NEVER give any details to a random call/call centre when you don't expect a call, especially any personal details like postcode and house number, if it's legitimate, they can send you a letter in the mail, as they'll genuinely have your details on file already.
