Same as above for 02 but this time they said they were from Three, which is my provider. They wanted full name, address and then to do a credit check. I said I was not comfortable giving this info and that they should stop calling.

Payment Attempt From New Device (Scam call) reported by


Received a message from this number. Said it was from LLOYDS, and that a payment attempt had been made from a new device. I'm not even with LLOYDS. There was a hyperlink at the end of the message and that I was to visit this link if this payment attempt was "NOT you". Looks like a phising attempt. No idea how they got my mobile number. And my mobile is with Vodafone.

The bloke knew my email and that I’d ordered a sim... Coincidence? More likely an o2 data breach... Anyway I totally drank it all in and went for the better deal, he said email would have all the details, came off phone, no email- phones o2 myself. They confirmed scam, had to cancel my card and check credit history... more angry with o2 for sharing my data with scammers

Very pushy individual trying to get me to upgrade to a better pay & go deal with O2 (i'm already on O2 £10 per month unlimited calls to any network & unlimited texts). I said I couldn't talk as i was at work...just talked over me and i said i had no use for an up-grade now as i was changing my fone in a couple of weeks and i'd call them back and he had another answer for that and wanted to know what phone i was looking for as he could do me a deal right now. Too pushy..nobody from O2 is ever like this. i had to end the call.

I ordered a sim a few days ago from 02 ...the person seem to know all my phone details etc said he could offer a better deal . Very convincing the only reason I caught on was because he was extremley pushy and was not listening to my No's

Caller said he was from O2 and could offer a cheaper deal than my current O2 Pay as you go deal. He seemed to know how long I've been a customer, my current phone/text rate, my average monthly spend and the fact that I don't use internet on my moby. I said as this was a coldcall, I'd check their deal online and asked for the name of the deal. I was told the deal could only be taken out via their phone line..... ALARM BELLS. When I asked where they were calling from they said Manchester, but could not give an actual address when probed. The caller then said he could send a text to me with a security code to prove he was from O2, which I declined.... A sophisticated scam, trying to get bank card details.

Yes useful info have rang me several time claiming to be O2 but realaed about 30secs into call scammers please be wary of this caller

Is there any hackers out there able to track the POS down, so I can set someone on the *! I have him blocked from day one after being bombarded with call after call, I never speak to * who speak English with a south asian/african accent nor do i give a *! The only voice message i recieved is when he said please answer your phone, losing money to him! Does he lose money if i take him off block and play * into my phones speakers?
