Phoned me twice in quick succession. When I answered the second they claimed it was a welcome call as I've recently got a new car. Then asked for personal details to prove who I was (even though they called me). When I refused to give them the caller hung up quickly and rather abruptly.

Moto novo finance. Trying to sell additional services, careful how you answer. They take ok to mean you agree, when you may just mean you understand. Become pushy when you say you don't want it. Even demanding you say why you don't need it

I received 8 phone calls from this number in one day. They called twice the next day before I picked up. It was a genuine call from moto novo finance but WAS NOT important and certainly did not warrant 8 calls in one day. They tried to sell extra products that I didn't need. Be wary of the language they use as well, they will explain a product you don't want in great detail without stopping, and will then say "is that okay?" That's their way of saying "can I charge you for this product you don't need?" I have no idea how long the call would have taken in total, but it took him 15 minutes just to get through the first product, and I believe there were another 4 or 5 he wanted to discuss after that. Tell them you do not want to buy any extra products until they give up. Alternatively, hang up, the call is not necessary for your finance to continue.
