Many, many calls from this and another number. Claims to be Microsoft - they alleged hackers trying to get into my PC. I called number back they then say that they are a company that helps to block nuisance calls !

asks for personal information. reassures you that they are not selling things and then asks for date of birth to "confirm we are not speaking to a minor" they ring 6 times a day every day! blocked now though!!

Said they were conducting a survey and told me not to hang up, and the over-use of my name was infuriating! I didn't answer any of their questions and told them I wasn't interested - they then hung up! They knew my address, although I didn't confirm it. Very annoying - I have blocked the number.

microsoft technician - Scam call 13/04/2016 claiming to be microsoft technician, state my computer has been hacked, asking me to turn my computer on, asking me to check identity no. Told me how to access, and read it to me? Said my computer was being used illegally. It would crash if I hung up, I asked for the number to contact her back. She gave me a number, not this one that came up on 1471, the number is false and the indian sounding lady said her name was "Sarah Jones" . now just hoping I hung up in time.
