I was called by this number. They left an automated message claiming to be from HMRC UK Tax. They told there was a warrant out for my arrest with warrant number WC4589. They told me to call 020 814 43388. This is a scam. HMRC do not make these types of call.

I got s voice mail saying there was a warrant for my arrest. I rang the number back , got a guy with an Indian accent. He asked me for my Name and NI , number, I made one up. He said. It matched. I basically wound him up . He gave himself an English name, when I told him that he sounded like a ****, he got aggressive . . Basically a Scam,

It's really creepy & unsettling, says HMRC have a warrant for my arrest & that i should call a number. I've had this call to both my work & personal phone numbers now.

I did not recognise the number and message went straight to voicemail. The male voice told me that HMRC Tax UK was issuing a warrant for my arrest, warrant WC4589, and that I had to call the number 020 8144 3388 immediately to discuss the legal notification. I was also warned not to ignore the call. This is a new scam that can unsettle anybody.

Message left on my mobile saying there is a warrant our for my arrest by HMRC Tax UK. Warrant number WC4589. Told to call immediately before legal notification is made! I know it is a scam but it still worries the hell out of me.
